
Julie Fleischmann, PsyD
Dr. Julie Fleischmann is the founder and director of Bergen Psychology. Julie graduated with a B.A in Psychology from Yeshiva University, Stern College for Women, and received her Psy.D from Hofstra University. Intensively trained in CBT, DBT, and other evidenced-based approaches, she works to create a warm and empathic environment that leads to effective growth and change. She especially enjoys working with young adults and helping them skillfully maneuver this new era of their lives.
Julie has received the gold-standard training in DBT, completing her postdoctoral fellowship at Cognitive Behavioral Associates, in Great Neck, NY. She trained under Dr. Jill Rathus, a renowned expert in both CBT and DBT. There, Julie worked with clients who struggled with severe emotion dysregulation. This experience has greatly influenced all of her work with various diagnoses and symptoms that her clients struggle with.
REBECCA KASZOVITZ, PSYD
Dr. Rebecca Kaszovitz is a postdoctoral fellow at Bergen Psychology. She received her PsyD in Clinical Psychology from Long Island University and completed her doctoral internship at Achieve Behavioral Health. She has received extensive training in evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, and ACT.
Rebecca provides therapy to adults and teens experiencing anxiety, depression, OCD, and relationship challenges. She has a particular interest in supporting women navigating pregnancy-related and postpartum mental health concerns. Her approach focuses on helping clients make sense of overwhelming emotions and patterns while developing practical tools to navigate life’s challenges. She aims to create a space that is warm, genuine, and supportive of meaningful change.
